Got NS2's on our A190 , great tyres for the money.

Falken 452's on the 430 CLK.

I think so too, never had a problem with them, worst tyres I ever had were Dunlop SP Sport OK in the dry but 2 spots of rain and they were lethal

Glad you pleased , think mine were around £200 for all 4 corners on a staggered set up.

There's a chap here in Leicester that sells part worns, all guaranteed and tested. Said he's got a pair of michelins with 4mm tread on them (that came off a CLK), 60 quid the pair fitted and balanced.

Shame she's in Harrow!

That's not a good deal only 2 mm of wear left in them and you'll soon wear that off in a CLK, better option would be Nankang NS2 or Lassa Impetus 2 new tyres for little more than the cost of the pair of 2/3rd worn Michelins

Going back to the spare - make sure you have the spare wheel bolts which are shorter, the alloy wheel bolts won't tighten with the spare on. Best to find out now before they're needed.

Funnily enough, I came to the same conclusion after I typed that out. False economy really ain't it? 4mm ain't really all that much is it?
