Just changed my Alloy wheels

My cars original alloy wheels were losing their paint.. It was lifting very badly (1st photo)
This gave me the excuse I needed to change them for some 5 spokes.. The ones I have admired for quite a while now are the Adharaz ones..
These are available in both 16" and 17"..
My car had the 16" as standard and for me comfort is more important than rubber band tires so I opted for the 16"..
The original wheels were all the same size..
The new ones are staggered (7" front and 8" rear)..
Photos 2 and 3 show my car fitted with the new wheels..
These are much, much easier to clean and in my opinion far better looking..

I dont know if its of any interest to any of you but this is where I got my wheels from..
He is called Roger Saxton..

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/rswheeltrack

He is based in Meopham Kent (Near Gravesend) and he does P/Ex your old ones (if they are not cracked or badly damaged)..
I have now dealt with Roger twice and can recommend the quality of his wheels..

If needed I can supply a decent close up of the wheels..

Simon prefers the option of experience.

The quality of ride is a much better daily proposition than looking good and riding rotten.

17" defo is the way to go, but 16" would offer a better compromise between ride and looks IMO

17" won't take away "ride quality" they are a combination of quality and look.

Depends what you mean by this.
When I changed mine from 16---17 I defiantly found the ride firmer, properly due to the smaller sidewalls of the tyres

Anyways back to topic, seeing as the troll has now gone. What happened with your old wheels?

What did you clean the old elegance wheels with? Napalm?
