Winter Tyre Picture thread

AS the title .

Post pictures of your car with winter wheels fitted to it.

I did mine today , got a snap with the summer on the front and the winter on the back.

My volkswagen tyrebag managed to squeeze into the shot too

got a set of spare alloys off e-bay and got them powder coated to suit. Had them on the last 2 winters now and not a mark yet.....
Had to go away from the staggered and get 225 all round, but this works better for the winter.

Given that it was 15 degrees when I set off for work this morning, mine are staying in the garage for a while yet!

haha yeah but then with airscarf & heated seats if it's a moderate temperature dry day then the roof can come down for a bit! Don't intend on using it much for the next few months though.

Finally the 17" winter wheels arrived and were fitted.
Surprisingly my 18" summer wheel/tyres measure just over 19.5" rim to rim and the 17"'s measure 18.5 rim to rim so they still look nice and big and I think they actually suit the coupe. I understand the way they official measure the wheel is by the inner rim.
There is plenty of rim protection on the winter tyres, bring on the ice and snow!

No need for them just yet on the Costa del Brighton, as we're still having an Autumn.

Hi Guys,
New to site. Need new tyres for my C32. Trying Coopers as the price is right and need to slow down in winter. Will put new Michelin`s on for summer as the lake district has some fun driving roads.
