i think it is. based on how rare and how well looked after it is. you think that a normal sl500 new costs this.

Interesting that it appears to have the bose sub in the back as well as rear seats. I didnt think this was an option. The seats look retrofitted.

There have been the odd the SL73 for sale in Japan and Europe in recent years.
What I don't get is the one-off Brunei RHD SL730 with 565bhp was up for ~£45,000, yet all these LHD cars are so much more!

Seems a little strange to me.
Having said that, I still think they are gorgeous, stunning cars and I'd have one in a heartbeat!

Maybe because prestiege cars in Japan are more coveted in LHD than RHD, and in most of Europe they'd not really want a RHD car?

Sorry, what I meant was that a RHD example in the UK was worth alot less than a LHD SL73 in predominently LHD car markets

Love it, but certainly would need to be a keen collector to pay that IMO.

And don't forget the circa 30% UK import tax!!
