The 300 seems to be going through a revival at the moment, the good ones are creeping up in price.
Perhaps as its not the v8 it is considered the same car with better mpg and easier to work with?
All classics go through the slump, thinned out by parters, then price creep and although I dont want to pay this kind of money it is welcome to see that the appreciation for a well looked after low miler is there.

Beautiful but without the V8 engine its like having chips with no ketchup... just doesnt work.

According to DVLA, it hasn't been taxed since 01.08.2004

The ad is a bit vague too. No mention of the basics - MoT & service history.

There were 856 300SE Auto on the road up to year end 2011, not sure which models that makes them though as there are two listings, 783 of one type and 73 of another.

Maybe that's W116 and W126?

I certainly wouldn't say my car is 'seriously underpowered'. Far from it. It goes very well thankyou
