That integrates into 3.5 very nicely.

Anyone who would like to see the new features of vBulletin 3.5 can use this test account on my site. Just post where you like I will clear it up before I go live.

Nearly everyone likes the new editor which is more ms word like and the fact you can copy and paste content into and keep formatting including pictures, links etc is very nice. And the ABC is very good indeed.

Ah, well that first method won't work then, because you'd only be able to see new emails in your Inbox.

Search for *.pst for your Outlook file. Should be at:
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

You could set up a share on that folder and access it on your office PC. you would have to be logged out [of Outlook] on the reception PC before trying to access it, but at least you would have only one version of the data file.

Sorry for butting in on your excellent, informative thread, but the above sentence really appealed to my sense of humour. £400 cheap at half the price ("Not by strength, by guile")

Blackberry servers only work with Exchange or Domino as Flyer states but Blackberrys themselves also work with POP mail. Most of the providers have a web page where you enter the pop email accounts you want to receive mail from and the PIN number of your Blackberry handset and bingo.

You definately need exchange if you are wishing to share mailboxes on multiple PC's in the way that you describe since OST files and PST files cannot be simultaniously shared.

You could have a remote desktop type workaround I suppose but its not ideal.

To save 400 quid (and no doubt VAT on top) anything is ideal.

What you thinking?

BTW Businesses are not for spending money on; they are for taking money from.

Every time you use it ... if you're working in the Office and wanted to access the emails on the shared .pst file, whoever was in Reception would have to log out of Outlook and then you could access the file [and vice versa]. Not ideal ...

Remote Desktop, which I use a lot, would be much like your GoToMyPC that you have now. The other computer is completely unusable whilst the remote PC is logged on [the user account on the PC being controlled is logged out].

£400 includes the VAT, and you could probably get it cheaper

John, standard Windows 2003 Server (with 5 CALs) runs c.£750, so SBS Standard at c.£400 is indeed a bargain

Oh and a full on Blackberry Server is £3500 although you used to be able to buy a stripped down version for a maximum of 15 users for about £350

Wouldnt you be better getting the reception PC pop account set up on your PC so you see all incoming mail (set it so his/her PC so that it leaves message on server and yours removes it from server after 7 days) and then ask reception to blind copy you on all business correspondence?

You could then get the blackberry set-up immediately for both POP accounts (up to 10 pop email accounts) while you wait at the carphone warehouse or similar. Blackberry handsets are now cheap as chips with T-Mobile doing free handsets and £10 per month tarrifs (if you look hard enough).

Wow Still, enterprises can afford them

Sasha, definitely no BlackBerry integration with WorkgroupMail. Advice from Softtalk is, as Spike says, use POP3 ...

It can be silly the price of some software (I personally am thinking of my till and reception software). You just have to find the right balance of productivity and cost.

£340 getting better and maybe cheaper better still.

What else dose it do for me apart form outlook i.e word excel ect?

Would I also be able to share contact lists and dairy?

Can it share information over the internet (as in update the contact list on my home Outlook)? I did do this though my PDA but that is not working at the moment.
