Can anyone help me with regards to a new tip tronik gear selector - MBClub UK

Have a 2002 clk 230 avent.... Which has a problem with the gear selector. The gears are hard to select, no show on LCD for 1,2,3,4 and 5th gear. It also comes up with codes for selector.
Does anyone know of someone who will remanufacture or refurbish the tip tronik unit. What's the going price for a second hand unit ?.
Worse case !!!! Mb price :-(
