Petrol on the nest. Don't light it.

Or have a picnic at the other end of the garden?

For any ant infestation indoors I use Nippon. It is a powder that the ants walk through and take it back to their nest/hill where somehow, it kills them.

You can also feed them Polenta which they love. The stuff swells up inside them and *POP*

Apparently cucumber is a good ant repellent. It will dissuade them from entering your house, without killing them...

I use 'AntStop' which works in the same way as described above my w124nut. It has an attractive poison which ants take back to the nest to wipe out the whole colony.

Now - if only they made 'BurglarStop', which worked in exactly the same way...

I think finding the nest is going to be tough as they are all over the garden and sem to be coming from under the block paving. I've used the Nippon powder over the garden but still they come, marvelous little creatures though.

we moved into our current house 12 years ago & had terrible problems with ants in the kitchen. we've got 3 of these types of gizmos in various rooms on the ground floor, no ants inside since & very few other creepy crawlies in the house either (much to the disgust of one of the cats as she likes to chase a snack every now & again!).

Any ideas on a solution to get rid of them?
