Each of the following is a still from the official video for a song by a British artist or group. All were Top 20 hits in the UK chart since 1980, with most making it into the Top 10. Name the song and artist for each one.

Time for some clues, methinks:
  • A: Reached number 2 in 1983 for a multi-talented London group whose dedicate following has seen them perform frequent reunion gigs.
  • B: Reached number 15 in 1990 as a remix. The original, released in 1988, failed to even make the Top 40, even though it is by one of the world's most successful and well known artists.
  • D: Reached number 6 in 1985 for another London outfit whose influential frontman later married its female vocalist.
  • E: Reached number 20 in 1994 for a Manchester group that may have been told to pull the udder one...
