Try a google image search for matchstick carving - there's some amazing stuff out there.

Bath used to have a gallery, with some astonishing stuff. Not sure if it's still there (can't seem to find it with google).

Another impressive sight is the brain surgeon who removes the shell from a raw chicken egg, without breaking the inner membrane, all with a Dremel type tool.

Seen at the start of some tv series about cranial-facial surgery..
