R129 Facelift Cluster Gremlins. - MBClub UK

on my MY2000 SL320 the bulbs have gone on the left side and oddly the fuel low light comes on when the fuels low as they should but if I turn the lights on the fuel low light goes off. also it doesnt buzz if the lights are left on with the door open.

Will probaby replace with LED's - is this an easy job ?

going to get an Auto Electrician to have a look. or should I go indie

Hi I did this earlier in the year. Simple enough job. The bulbs can be bought in ebay. There are two hook like mb tools which you'll need which are also available on ebay. If you check YouTube for r129 instrument cluster removal there is a video on how to so it. Takes 5 mins. Not sure why the buzzer isn't working though, think this has a switch on the drivers door so maybe check that isn't blocked. If you check my previous posts you should see the info you need.
