03/53 ml command disk - MBClub UK

Hi All can anyone help with some advice, my ML command disk has become faulty, but when i bought the vehicle it was a copy one and not original disc, any ideas what i need and where do i get one from?

You need Tele Atlas DX disc or the Mercedes branded version: Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: Mercedes Navigation Disks :: United Kingdom

You can also buy from Tele Atlas direct or ebay for second hand.

cheers! just wondered why it had a copy disc in it? would that be a illegal download?

Yup, an illegal download or copy, but sounds like the last owner was happy to break the law

Would a newer disk or is there a option to have upto date maps in a 03 command system?

You just need the latest teleatlas dx disc. Unfortunately because CD based only one country per disc but teleatlas sometimes do bundled discs at a good price. 2 or 3 years ago I got France and Italy for little more than the usual price for 1 disc.

That should be fine. Any DX type disc will work but obviously the more recent the better. Mine is 2008 and is fine apart from a few very new roads. The one in the link is more recent than mine but not the latest despite what the ad says.
