MB Insurance

Has anyone ever actually had a competitive quote from MB insurance? They quoted me £950 for the same cover with a higher excess than eSure were offering for £300...

Car is a W204 C180 for a 28yr old with 5 years no claims.

No, way more than Admiral for my C63. They wanted nearly a grand and admiral were £592.

MB insurance is actually Aviva insurance. For me they were the cheapest £420 fully protected (C63). It was cheaper to include the Mrs. - although she doesn't know she's on the insurance.

That's what I thought, but I'm sure Aviva was cheaper when it came up on one of the comparison sites. If you go direct to Aviva do you lose the guarantee of MB approved garages & genuine MB parts?
