This is self funding, non profit (and strictly non loss) event and all income from ticket sales will be spent on making the meeting one to remember.

In order to satisfy the requirements of the land owner and our insurers we must rigidly enforce a ticket holders and invited guests only admission policy. We need you to book early so that we know the number of people attending in order to satisfy our insurance brokers, encourage traders etc to attend and we need the funds in advance to pay the bills as they arise.

What's Happening?

Saturday evening.

We'll be starting off with an informal gathering for those that wish to camp. Light a barbecue, pop down the local for a few beers, maybe visit a restaurant or just sit around the field chatting.

Sunday Daytime

We'll be running several challenges for the adults and families which you are all invited to get involved with

The main event will be a 'scatter rally' where you will need to visit seven of ten locations on a list, solving clues, gathering information and enjoying the local scenery. The 'course' will be designed to involve a 30 – 40 mile drive around the superb Welsh countryside and last up to three hours. Entry will be free and there will be prizes awarded based on your performance. More details to follow

Show and Shine – A nice informal way to let everybody have a close up look at your pride and joy. Not as fussy as a concours event and judging will be done by the people attending the show.

We'll be giving prizes for things like best engine, best interior etc and of course, best of show

A Mercedes 'Trivia Quiz'. Upon arrival, you'll be given a quiz sheet – test your knowledge and win prizes

Again, this list will be added to as we get more information

Kids Entertainment

We realise that keeping the kids entertained is never easy but (amongst other things) we'll have a few competitions running throughout the day such as a tug of war, bonnet pull, an onsite treasure hunt to keep them occupied and make your life's a little easier.

Traders

We are hoping to attract a few traders including at least one Mercedes specialist. We'll be announcing more details as to what services are available. If you want any work doing on your car please book in advance as spaces will be limited.

Any costs for work performed on your car are not included in the admission fee and are not controlled by MB Club although discounts will be available

We are currently talking to other companies that regularly attend shows and will post updates as and when we get more information

If you have parts/accessories for sale or wish to trade at the meeting, please let us know and we'll arrange a pitch for you. There is no charge for trading but you may be asked to donate a prize or sponsor one of the competitions.

Food

We are talking to a couple of caterers and are currently awaiting their response but there will be on site catering

Hotels and Guest Houses

The nearest Travelodge is Porthmadog

but there are two more within a short distance

Bangor and Caernarfon

We are currently compiling a list of local guest houses, B&Bs and hotels.

Once this list is complete, we'll post more information including hopefully details of any discounts we've been able to secure

For those interested in a restaurant meal on either the Saturday or Sunday night there is The Bron Eifion which has a restaurant open to non residents – They are sending us more details and can accommodate up to 65 people with prices around £30 per head – obviously we will need to book in advance as they do a lot of weddings and other functions

More information and other possible restaurant locations to follow as they get back to us

Camping

Barbecues are fine in the camping area but please be responsible and considerate. We'd rather you didn't use disposable barbecues but if you must please ensure they are raised clear of the grass before you light them.

All campers must provide their own fire extinguisher

Keep the camping area clean, you are responsible for your own litter although we'll have 'bin bags' available on request

Children

We want this to be a real family event so admission is free for children. They will be welcome to both the meeting and overnight camping. As stated above, we are planning lots to keep them interested but we must remind you that at all times, you are responsible for them.

Pets
Continuing with the family theme, well behaved pets are welcome but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst on or around the site. There is a lot of livestock on the surrounding land and we don't want any complaints

Please make sure pets are under control at all times and don't forget to clean up after your pet.

We will be updating this page regularly as we receive information from people we are in contact with.
