E200K Elegance vs E320 CDI Avantgarde

To me it's a no brainer.

The E200K is on the board at £23,500 and the E320 CDI is on at £25,999.

I reckon the residual on the E320 CDI will be higher so my mate may end up paying roughly the same as the E200K.

Both are 09 reg. The E320 CDI has 2000 miles more on it.

So guys and gals which one would you choose ?

E200K Elegance or E320 CDI ?

Absolute no brainer from me, hands down winner for me is the E320 CDI, it flies and is frugal too......Plus its avantgarde which i would also prefer!!

Ha ! The Merc dealer are doing the 320 CDI for £317 a month. £5 a month more than the E200K. Brilliant but I've still told him to ring back and say "The deal is yours and you can have a deposit now if you can do it for £300 a month".

I have driven both and whilst the little petrol engine works fine in the C Class, it does not have the torque to heave the E Class around.
Add that to the points already made and it's a double no brainer

Definitely the E320 CDi.

I test drove one a few months ago, and i was very impressed with the performance and comfort.

Are you sure you're comparing like with like - are the other figures in the deal the same?

This is the classic PCP trap - focusing on the monthly payment in isolation.

Sure, they'll do £300/mth - by shifting the deposit and/or the final value figure.

An e200k is the worse E class, the 320cdi the best one. Suprised such a small different for a wholly better car.

E320CDI all day long. The 200k engine is asthmatic in the E-class body.

Thanks for your help everyone. He's signed up for the E320 CDI and he's getting giddy. He was convinced the E200K was the one for him and if I hadn't been in work today he would have signed up for it.

What? you can't compare the 2 engines, 320 cdi without even thinking about it!

I thought 280cdi or 320cdi but 200k?, my friend there is no other choice here!
