Hi
Im doing a factory collection in Feb
Build date is 6th Feb but will be confirmed when the chassis No is issued.
You will get a choice of three date approx ten days after build date.

Thanks so is that how it works?! You can't choose your particular day then? I was hoping to collect it on a Wednesday and spend the rest of the week driving it home

You should be getting initial paperwork thru soon from MB Milton Keynes.
The girl is very helpful so give her a call when you get the paperwork and explain your requirements.
Did you realise you can get 10 days cover and enjoy a more leisurely drive back.
Also if you want to take your partner you can go for a cheaper flight option that will cover both of you so that you only have to pay the extra meal in the hotel

Thank you so much for this information

Yes i did here about the 10 day cover (rather than the 5 day free cover) I think i will take that up as it sounds like it isnt very expensive

Thank you for all the advice

Superted,

Hi, you are doing better than me! I have a C63 on order but have failed to get any speculative build date at all. I have been told "March-ish" and am pressing for a clear date.

I too am planning on a Factory collection. Might see you there.

Jack

I presume they will do what they need to do. I will only be in Germany for a short while as i am mainly going to be driving through France.

Interesting question though
