Got the beast back this morning Ian gave me lifts to and from work and home during the repair (and it's not exactly round the corner) An excellent job has been done at a more than fair price. Will not be using any other mechanics EVER. Would recommend A******* to Anyone on the forum who hasn't already used. Thanks for recommending Ian to everyone who did. And thanks Ian. |

Message for Members down South. USE OLIVER!! he has helped me on more than one occasion. I don't want to travel south as I feel I would be poaching and I would not do that to a friend.
Anyway, finished Daves car at 1:30 this morning Put key in ignition said to my Apprentice (Chris) something along the lines of, "truth or consequences". Turned the key and it fired up first time. You get a really warm feeling when that happens. De catted the beast after its first run (pipes made from off cuts from Bosal ) Have to say it looks quite tidy. Ran Chris home in it and WOW does it sound nice. Quiet in town but press the loud pedal and that's what you get, loud.

Sorry for asking, but as a newbie and softie southerner, who is this fabled Oliver whose fame is almost as great as the legendary Ian?
