IIRC the 220CDI engine was introduced into the W210 E class in 1999 when the W210 range was facelifted.

The 220CDI is a 4 cylinder inline engine with a turbo charger. The power output quoted by Mercedes was 143 hp.

Hope this helps...

Yes, assuming the bumper blend into the front wings and headlights, car has sideskirts and lower lips on rear bumper.

I am definitely not disagreeing with anyone, I am merely confused. I thought the latest W210 had indicators in the exterior rear view mirrors? Mine certainly did.

I can only comment on the W210 Estate and the last models, did they actually have a 220CDI?

I have the brochure on my chest and it shows only the 320CDI diesel powered vehicle, however they may well have made a saloon version.

No doubt that is what you saw, but I am confused about the remark latest version?

You are correct but so can a modifies pre-facelift car.

That's different to it having indicators in the mirrors and all later body mods.
The hardest update to replicate is the front wing/bumper interface and there being no metal under the grille.

You are spot on, my eyes are out of gear to what little grey matter I have left.

A thousand and one apologies.
