You wont see much of it Charles. A mad Irishman from Dublin owns it. He came over special for the day.

This looked like a great day out, is the Mercedes-Benz club the "Better" club to join.

It certainly seems to have a load of W124 cabrio members, which is my particular interest.

I feel I should make the effort and join one of the clubs, just not sure where to pin my colours.

Regards, R.
The Mercedes-Benz Club certainly knows how to put on a show. They've had 60 years to learn how to do it properly. It's definitely the place to pin your colours. I did, about seven years ago and it's the best £30 I spend every year. Much, much more than just an internet forum.

The Mercedes-Benz Club for joining information. Highly recommended.

they were hoping to get 124 124's there. I guess they made that. Anybody now how many were there ?

I couldn't make it, but would probably have won the "scruffy" category, as
it's still not washed - well we do have a hosepipe ban !

"Likes driving not cleaning" !

If only they built cars like that today.

Obviously a lot of people look after their 124 and put some effort in.
Long may it continue.

It was such a great day, weather was brilliant too.. apart from some chilly winds!

Seeing so many 124's in one place was just awesome, and this is one place where you can really appreciate the originality of these cars and how the owners have looked after them!

Dash, Billy, MD5 and John, it was great seeing you guys!

Wow! And here's me thinking I had one of the good ones. Amazing pictures. Stunning cars. Think the du chat is my favourite.

Time to get the plastic padding out.
