Sounds fantastic.

I also had a double-take thinking "caravansite" blue. Having checked out the photos linked to above, it's a great colour.

If you don't want to park it on the road, but don't mind flying to Saudi via Birmingham or East Midlands, then I can find you an off-road space*

* Terms & Conditions apply. Ask for written details. Offer valid on both C63 and 993 irrespective of caliper cover.

Congrats. My humble C250 is Canvasite Blue. It's a gorgeous colour - especially in the sun.
I agree with Frugal - do the factory collection.

I'm not so sure.

I did try that in 2008 and things may have changed since but you still collect from Sindelfingen where you will get free tickets to the MB museum in Stuttgart (which is a must!!) however if you call up the guys at Affalterbach and let them know your collection date they will also arrange a very nice tour of the facilities, when I went they even put out the union flags to show their appreciation when I questioned the flags they said it was just for me as every AMG buyer/owner is special... and they made me feel just that.

they do now .. they told me in Aug 11 when I was there (it's not advertised), and there was a C63 waiting to be collected.

Good choice, even though I'm biased. Love the performance though I've never driven a 993 so can't compare

Saw a brand new coupe today in this colour and it does look great, very similar to Tansanite blue.

Hi,

Welcome and congratulations. A great choice.

I have attached a few links that will hopefully give you a better idea of the Canvansite blue with sand interior.

First video is from a Dutch Newspaper. According to one of my colleagues the reporter is complaint about the wheels being to flush with the bodywork causing dirt to be washed along the car and not caught by the wheel arches !! Missing the point when driving a C63..

Mercedes C63 AMG - YouTube

2nd video is from Belgium, with guy gunning it !!

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate 2012 (Revving, Launch control!) - YouTube

3rd link is photo of new owners car from Pistonheads forum

Wow - the AMG has arrived!

Hope these help and look forward to hearing how you get on

Marvin
