The interior looks pretty moldy and very rough though

Hi Rims, I have a special spot for the 2.3 16v as I used to work for a MB franchise when it was introduced and was a considered far superior to the them BMW M3 Evo. My advise is keep it but if you need to sell i would recommend a specialist site like this one or even PISTONHEADS. These guys are total enthausiates. hope this helps. If I had some extra cash I would take it off you myself (what are you asking) ;-)

Wouldn't it be nice to keep another one on the road?

I'm looking for a few bits.

The 2 rear female seat belt stalks that stick up through the rear seat bench, the jacking point covers, the front towing eye cover. the wheel arches & more.

How do I contact you? I'd like to speak to you before you scrap it.

I would have thought so too... but just looking on eBay and there are a small number of breaking / working ones for not a lot of money...

List it on eBay, as is, and you'll get the best part of £1k for it.

Don't scrap it if the shell isn't terminally rusty, these are special cars and very rare these days. Someone will lavish it with TLC and make a nice car out of it

Only 79 left in use at present, plus 10 automatic ones.

Search results for "190e 2.3-16" - How Many Left?

Another 5-10 years and these will be truly rare IMHO.

That's what I was thinking - scrap a rare collector's car? People would restore one of those without a shadow of a doubt...
