The only way to get any real gains is with a remap Pal.

If you want "real" power you should consider a modified diesel pump. Is your engine code OM606 ? If it is, then you can get big power for not a lot of monies. Speak to Diesel Pump UK. They build some superdiesel Mercs with insane power. HTH

Seek out the STD forum. Friend of mine has got socketed chips for his 605 ECU, from a chap in Ireland - done the job, it seems!
