E300 - rear window brake light?

Had my M.O.T done today and passed , got an advisory on the rear window brake light, I have the brake light also in the spoiler, should it also work in the rear window, it never has since I bought her in September 2008.

Of course not. But it's an advisory, so don't worry. A pointless advisory however.

Dodgy MoT then. If brake lights are fitted they should work. Guess you got lucky.

But some cars, when fitted with optional spoilers have the brake light fitted in the spoiler and the one in the window disconnected in the factory.
