Arrow w204 C200K discontinued and replaced by C250CGI

Some "inside" information regarding c200k that most of us think that its still available to order as w204 c-class

C200K will be replaced (in late July/early August) with the new C250CGI

Features:
Still 1.8 litre sized engine like c200k
Twin exhaust instead of the c200k single exhaust
Turbo instead of the c200k compressor
HIGHER POWER AND LOWER FUEL EMMISSIONS compared to C200k
New Direct injection technology
Newer Euro 5 certificate of conformity (instead of c200k Euro 4) Which means lower registration taxes
Engine power of 150KW instead of the c200k 135K. This means over 200 horse power.

Whoever has recently ordered a C200K is highly advised to go back to their dealer to cancel their order and get the new 1.8l C250CGI

I hope this is new post of mine is again helpful to you.

Hi,
may be I am way off beat but isn't the C250CGI a diesel engine and the C200K a petrol engine?

So a Turbo instead of a compressor..... dont know.... the compressor works over the whole RPM, but a turbo always has a lag... Had an A200 turbo before my W204 and there was a little Turbo lag... But the good thing is that tuning is easier...

Blue means another fuel tank, sensors and lots more expensive ecus

Will be a pain in the butt, but i am sure the problems will eventually get ironed out like all new technology.
