W202 Engine Management Light reaction time.
I am going to do this with some relays to make a bypass circuit. My question is if I switch from the box to normal running whilst the engine is running will the EML come on and stay on? or if the relays are quick enough, not have enough time to react?? Lights never been on before so I dont know if a fault came up whether it stays on or not. cheers Barny |

Have you considered opto-relays instead of electro-mechanical ones?

No chance this is a big no no ... A tunit box is enough to ruin a vehicle
A slight fluctuation of power a you could have a non starter ... You need a stable supply of power pref 13.6 Volts stable .You could have potentaily have more problems than its worth ... Regards *** Tuning |
