A bit unsure what you are saying here

Are you saying it works fine until you press the eject button and then it stops?

If you can be as comprehensive with the symptoms as possible I'm sure we can help.

apc-man I think you still need to clarify the problem a bit before anyone can help.
Does the comand system work at all? can you listen to the radio? does the screen display anything?
If nothing is showing and you cannot hear anything then it is most likely a complete power loss, so you should be looking at fuses loose wires etc...

Or are you saying that it is just the CD slot that does nothing?
I.e. you cannot insert a CD or there is a CD in there that won't play?

What is displayed when you press the CD button? does it say NO CD or CD Reading Error etc...

I am sure we can help you resolve your problems but we need to know what the problem is first?

Thanks guys, let me try to explain.

Radio works ok, Nav system works ok, Bluetooth phone system works ok.
when i select Audio on Control Panel , i only see Radio and Aux highlited but Cd shows greyish and by pressing CD key "Nothing Happens".
At present there are six CD's loaded in the changer.
Is there any mechanical release to remove the CD's from the changer, as i have tried Eject and it does not work??
Many Thanks.

Assuming you have a standard C class Mercedes CD changer in the glove box.
The left had side of the front cover should slide across to reveal the CD magazine.
At the bottom of the magazine is a small button which should be green.
If it is not green then you are not getting any power to the changer itself.
If it is green then you have power; if pressing this does not eject the magazine then it may be a problem with the changer itself.

I have seen threads on this before and disconnecting the unit from the power supply and reconnecting it sometimes clears it.
