HFP module

I have used a Nokia 6500 classic with the HFP module, without any problem in my W203 for 2 years (with DVD COMAND). I went to upgrade to a ViseeO-MB2 unit, but it wouldn't work properly, so I sent it back. Now, when I use the HFP module again, the phone contact list has been downloaded twice to COMAND, and I can't seem to delete it. I've tried unpairing the phone, removing the HFP module, even resetting COMAND (all this did was delete all my navigation destinations). Any ideas?

You didnt copy your Phone Memory contacts to your SIM at any point did you ? The HFP can (not on all phones) download SIM and phone memory.

Hi Richard.
Yes, I have numbers in the phone memory and the SIM (phone memory includes the international code, SIM doesn't). That way I can get caller ID in the car, in the UK, but when I'm overseas, I switch to the phone memory and I've got the international codes. But it's always been like this. At the moment I've only got the SIM selected.

Is it worth deleting just one of the SIM contacts (or phone contacts) and see whether its still duplicated - at least you will know something more..
