w124 230ce - can someone please help ?

hi everyone,

i have a '91 230ce, had it for about 5 years, so far so good...

for the past week its been giving me problems with the central locking and the windows. when i try to lock/unlock the car, as soon as the key turns, the windows roll down an inch then stop. once down they will not go up unless i turn ignition on and off. same again when the windows are opened from the inside they wont go up unless ignition is on and off.!

central lock is working but whats with the windows?

can some one please help, advice is much appreciated.

Try a new car battery if you havn't changed it in your 5 years of ownership. Failing that have a look at a your convenience module under the nearside rear seat.
