HI all,

im wanting to fit folding door mirrors to my 01 clk - it has memory mirrors at the moment.

does anyone know whats involved or maybe even the part numbers i need?

am guessing new mirror motors, switch, loom, star coding??

i did it on our e46 coupe and it was really easy on that.

any help would be ace and will do a write up with pics when i do it..

If you look in the DIY section I believe there is a "how to" for doing this on a C Class W202 which i believe is very similar to doing it on a CLK 208.
It will involve fitting a new loom from the centre console switches to each door (you "may" have the door looms fitted from the factory) and a new switch will need to be fitted in the centre console panel adjacent to the mirror adjustment switch, and of course a pair of folding mirrors. You could get away with just the frames if you use your mirror glass and covers.
If you drop me a PM i have a worksheet from WIS on how to install it i could send you on how to do it.
