Fitting Active sub - any advice?

After lots of consideration I have finally bought the followng Active SubWoofer (£98 delivered off Ebay)

http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/spkr0_2.asp

I dont think it will actually fit under the seat as hoped (without robbing rear foot space / compromising seat movement) so I intend to mount it in the passenger footwell underneath the dash, so hopefully out of sight.

I hope to fit it this weekend, and have yet to read the instructions, but is there any general advice for things I should/shuldnt do or even more so how to best set it up once the power and connecting jobs are done?

Cheers
Simon
