projector headlights

I would like some xenons on my 203 coupe & was wondering whether anyone else had experience of fitting non MB lights to an MB (-it may be a much cheaper route & I have not seen coupe xenons on ebay for a long time) ? I guess it may be complicated when it comes to self levelling plus refraction through the polycarb lens and am aware of DOT issues re original washers etc as documented on other threads!

"yes, as i mentioned in an earlier post, i took a set of ebay lights and chopped them up to fit in Acura TSX projectors (Honda accord in the UK - apart from the Honda S2000 thay have probably the sharpest cut-off line). It was not easy or fun, but it came out pretty unique I think:"

I have fitted Depo projectors to my W203 saloon. Might be an idea to PM kjay as he looked into projector's for the coupe before settling with xenons.
