Instrument cluster swap
I have a w209 clk and i'm thinking of swapping the instrument cluster over to the white dialed AMG one. Is this just a straight swap or does it have to be programmed? Thanks |

If it's a complete cluster it needs to be programmed.

yep, should be straight forward, as said above, the cluster will need coding, anyone with STAR should be able to do this for you.

I seem to remember that sometimes cluster swaps cause a problem???? Maybe the mileage resets to zero??? Anyway I know that it isn't always plain sailing

if its a new cluster you should be ok, just dont drive around until without programming it as the cluster locks of you drive over 200K without having the milage set. if its a 2nd hand cluster, then you would have to get the milage ammended by one of those "Milage correction services" after programming the cluster to your car.
