Reverse lights

Hello all, for the last few days my bulb failure indicator comes on showing drivers side reverse light inoperative, i've checked and changed the bulb but still nothing, put a volt meter on the wiring and no volts there, the near side is fine though, are they fused seperately? if not where in the car does the reverse lights get power from? i.e which relay, was wondering if a loose wire could be the culprit, incidentally the n/s is black/grey and the o/s is green/white colour wires and the o/s one is dead. Thanks. The car is a 2001 W220 320 CDI

I think both reverse lights recieve power fromt the rear SAM, but individually. Trace the cabling back and check there.

thanks diesel man, i found the culprit, a dodgy check relay that came with the towbar, disconnected the reverse wires from it and they both work fine now, looks like i'll have to buy another
