W208 CLK clock and temp display...

The clock and temperature display on my CLK has started to lose segments, which makes life quite irritating. Is there an easy solution to replacing the clock and temp bit, or am i looking at a complete cluster? Could it be a loose connection somewhere, or is the LED just failing?

I've not yet fathomed out how to get the cluster out, and dont really want to try until I know whether its worth it for repair, or if I should start scouring around scrap yards.

Any advice appreciated. I was hoping to sell the car later this year, but it looks really crap at the moment, I'd almost prefer the displays to be completely out that half in and half out.

Cheers
Jeff

Jus had a quote to have mine done by a local dashboard guy £88 to change the whole digital readout board (my digi clock fades out). To remove the clocks you the correct tool 2 long rods with a hook end an they jus slide out.
