key Fob Window Closure

Hi I'm a new member and this is my first post.

I have just bought a 2003 C230K Evo Pan SE AMG and need to know if the windows and sunroof are supposed to close using the key fob, as mine doesn't.

Before I take it back to the dealer, I would appreciate some advice about whether this is something which should work as standard or whether it was an option which may not have been fitted originally.

Assumiong it is the same a my W203; the windows can be closed using the keyfob but you need to point the fob at the small infrared window on the door handle and hold the lock button down until they close.

Sadly no one touch full closure options.

Tryt holding the remote just a few feet from the driver's door infra red receiver then press and hold open. If it does work you still need to hold the button down until it is fully opened (or vice verca)

Thanks for your advice, I have tried that but still does not work.

I will think I will have to take it back to the dealer to try to sort out.

does it say it works in your handbook? mine does but it may need synchronising

I dont have a handbook for the car, but I've been told that it should work on my car. How do I try synchronising it?
