APS 50 for W203 does it fit W209?

Hello folks.

I wonder i have a C-class W203 facelift version.

Now i wonder i have the aps 50 in my car and i wonder if this APS 50 fits the CLK facelift version? On the ebay many people that sell these aps claim that they both fith C-class and CLK class?

Help me and i wold be thankfull.

This is a common misconception.

I can categorically assure you that the W209 APS50 and W209 Comand APS units will NOT fit into a W203 c class. Neither will any W203 C class APS headunit fit into a W209 CLK.

They look remarkably similar but the they are a different shape (slightly and enough not to fit!) plus the mountings are differently spaced.

As Richard says on the www.mercupgrades.com website 'Buy the comand unit thats right for your car'
