Running Slow

For some strange reason the clock in the instrument cluster loses time very slowly

i set it for 2 minutes fast accoring to my watch on Friday and today it is 1 minute slower

It is definatly the clock as have also set it against the pips of BBC radio

am really confused

Are you travelling faster than the speed of light in which case you would have to take relativity into account?
On a more serious note I know some CLK's of that age had a similar problem with their clocks -can't remember why at the moment . ML320's were made in the USA at that time I think?so don't know if they would share any of the same hardware?

Clock is still losing time

Any ideas......vehicle is a W163

Been losing approx 6 minutes over 3 or 4 days

It's an odd one that, as I'd imagine a digital clock to work or not work.
A daft question this, but are you sure the clock you are compring it against is not gaining 6 minutes over the 3-4 day period?

Nope, I listen to radio4 on the way in and out of work

compare it against the hour pips
