Brake bulbs

Hi All,
Would anyone have any ideas on why my brake light bulbs keep blowing, on my (96 W202 C200 Estate 14700 miles, and getting faster) last night replaced nearside this morning new bulb blown?

I've had similar issues from time to time with various cars - I've found that it's usually down to buying 'cheap' bulbs. Not sure where you're getting them from, but try buying a replacement from your local MB dealer and see if that lasts any longer.

Don't know specifically about your model but E Class 300TD had a rear light circuit board problem, my local MB specialist had a workaround.
