Car: The wife's if she lets me

I'm a complete newbie to the forum. I'm looking at a potential purchase of a C32(2002) estate. I have been told that the car has a problem with the BSI unit and the battery keeps going flat. The car is currently at a MB dealer for investigation. What is a BSI unit and should I be worried if the car is having problems like this. Apart from that the car is in good shape with a full MB service history. Any help and advice would be much appreciated ..

With some other makers that stands for Built-in Systems Interface, which is sort of a network router that sits between various ECU's and can also function as the power distribution unit.

Thanks Satch. I'll wait and see what the MB dealer has to do to cure the problem.
