Hello

I fitted mine to the ML from a kit I bought off e-bay. Only 2 sensors but they work as well as cars I have had with 6 sensors and with this kit I have a little display to let me know what side the obstical is... All for £30 !!

Towbar I had the OEM westfailer one fitted with twin electrics and bypass filter. Fully fitted at my home £300 mercedes £700 +

Mines on the right...

Hello

Just do a search on ebay for sensors, its from Hong Kong (isn't everything ) comes with everything to work even the drill bit. I dodn't fancy drilling the bumper hence put them in the pull off flaps as I had already got a price from Mercedes for these if I messed up..

The sensors come prepainted in silver or black and have to say match my car very well.

The towbar was from a local fitted (mobile) here in Cheshire, works very well and when not on the car its hard to see I have anything fitted

Does anyone know how these sensor kits from eBay can be wired up to the car some how so that they turn themselves off after 11mph or similar, like the doors auto-lock??

Anyone one know where to wire it to? Just a thought...

I fitted a similar unit from the Kong on another car and it works very well. I picked up a 4 sensor unit with display for £25! Have a look on ebay, there are loads on there.

As for getting it to turn on and off at certain speeds, I'm not a techie but that sounds hella complicated to me!

That looks good. I was thinking of doing this since her indoors reveresed the family bus into the garage Unfortunately our drive involves a 90 deg turn, so although she was going backwards it was actually the front corner that she damaged so it would not have helped, hence I still unsure!
