Would this Radio from a 211 fit my ML?

Hello

I'm not after command, I use my Phone with TomTom. I just would like a CD / radio that fills the double din gap.

This although out of an E class would match the ML with the buttons looking the same as my temperature ones.

Would it fit though?

The front panel on the E class is much larger than the panel on a W163, that unit would probably fit a W164

This is a W164 unit.

From the avatar picture, you have a W163 - the W163 has no CAN bus, i.e all the ignition, lights (etc) signals are wired as per standard DIN wiring, and no steering wheel controls or fancy cluster display.

Assuming your car does not have BOSE, CD changer or factory phone, then you can put any standard double din unit (you will have to cut some plastic lugs off, obvious when you remove the unit and the compartment below)

If you do have BOSE (or what your MB CD changer to work) then you have to stick with a Mercedes D2B fibre optic unit.

All the newer cars radios are not double din shaped fronts, so none will work in a W163 ML

If you have a W164 ML, then you need a W164 unit. Talk to alfie, he may have a W164 Audio-20 - but as they are standard fit in the UK I suspect you have a W163 !!
