Euro Projector Light Replacement For Standard 202 Lights

Ok, i'm gonna get slated summat terrible here but i've bought a set of the euro projector lights (UK based ones) to replace mine where some asshole decided to reverse his Chelsea tractor into my 202 and smash a f**&%$g headlight and then proceeded to drive off before I broke his neck.

Is there a straight forward how to on the forum on how to do it? I've done the search engine thing and came up with nothing and i've already been pulled for the headlight and can't risk any points on my license. I've also looked on Club 202 but nothing.

Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help me.

Thats bad luck with the chelsea tractor. Sorry, I can't help with your post but please post a picture when you have fitted the new lights.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Not sure if it will help but on the W203 you can remove the final bolt (behind the front bumper) through the front wheel arches without taking the whole bumper off. Everything else can be accessed in front of engine compartment. Sure another W202 owner will correct if fittings are different.

Well, i'm slowly modding my W202 into a nice looking sleeper. I'm getting a Nissan 350 fairlady z next year (a present off my good lady for making our business successful) and I plan on upgrading my standard C Class W202 into a monster sleeper. I'll NEVER ever get rid of my 202 so slowly i'm making slight mods here and there, maybe look out for a full AMG bodykit and then a total respray (inside and out) from the standard silver to obsidian black It'll take a few years but it'll get done

Ok, I got them installed today and to be honest i'm more than happy with them. My old ones were cracked where an asshole with a Chelsea tractor hit them with his tow bar and no doubt the purists amongst us will not be happy with the end result. But, at the end of the day i'm happy

Mods, admin, please feel free to reduce the size as I haven't a clue how to do it i'm sorry and many thanks to television for the help

I think they give the car a unique look, not to my taste, but as long as you like them that's what matters. I'm changing my big star grille if you're still interested, you didnt get back to me about that.

They look better than expected, not bad.

The grille has too many chrome slats though, you need a proper 'Avantgarde' type one..

I've already ordered the avantegarde grille from up country somewhere and am now on the lookout for a set or rear led brake lights (new), the illuminated door sills with the MB logo on and a black sports leather interior if anyone knows of one going for a reasonable price. Also looking for an AMG C43 full body kit but they are like rocking horse **** nowadays and the ones available are selling for astronomical amounts of money

Appologies for not getting back to you about the grille. My wife and I run a few laundry shops and it's very seldom I get a chance to get any spare time and she's now informed me we're opening up a mobile vehicle valeting company in 6 weeks so time is going to be even more limited. Please accept my appologies once again.

I'll be 100% honest here and say the photo's really don't do the lights justice. They've changed the look on the front so much it's unreal. I suspect a trip to the local MB specialist in Crickhowell this week as I fear the head gasket is on it's way out Whatever needs to be done will be done coz even if I win the lottery I will never part with this car (i'll just own a dozen others as well lol).
