Mine has Heat Reflective Glass, so i suppose that's why the small 'Shark's Fin' aerial is on the external surface of the rear screen?

Malcolm, apparently heated windscreens were an option for the SL?

P.S. Wiper blade for your car is a massive £15.29

EPC shows;

Windshield (with heating) A2306700901
Windshield (without Heating) A2306701001

Could this be something different to what I am understanding as heated windshield i.e. heating wires in the glasss like the Ford system?

Went to Road angel today at their HQ in Silverstone. Excellent service!.Tried every product and the upshot is so far that the RA plus works just fine. The New Professional works even better ( ie inside their office!) but at twice the cost. If you do the mileage then the Prof connect is the Biz but I bought a RA plus at bargain price and its worked just fine so far ( ie 20 miles). Boots up and finds Sats in a mile/3 mins and locks on; power down if no use for 5 mins and powers up when you start off again imediately.Also the look is good between the speedo/rev cowlings of the SL. ( will post pic asap) and has magnetic base to place/remove really easily.

Will see how it goes over the next few days and let you know. so far

road angel photos

AS promised here are 2 photos of my RA on dash...not very exciting but shows up better in real life and the info is right in front of you without getting in the way. Excellent for that moment when you see the camera but not realy sure of the limit as the Ra shows both limit and digital speed so you realy have all info
