'Spurious' Navi CD ?

I've been told by my MB Dealer storeman that I can get a Navi CD for my Comand ( W220 ) from some guy in Germany for a fraction of the Genuine part. Anybody know about this ?

Who did they have in mind?

A small fraction of the price suggests either old version or counterfeit.

You can get disks in Germany for about 80% of UK pricing from their dealers though (around €280)

It might be quicker locally - I know this bloke in Stockwell ...
