Cl500 Window Problems

Hi
I have recently bought a 2000 W CL500 and I am having problems with the drivers window.

1. When the door is open the window will go neither up nor down

2. The window drops slightly when i open the door, but when I close it , it doesnt go back up leaving a gap.
If I am in the car the window will close to the top using the switch.

I have tried the "reset" holding the button in position one, then 5 seconds in position 2 when it closes to no avail

Any opinions most appreciated.

You probably have either a faulty door control module or broken wires in the door hinge.

These are complicated cars and expensive to fix. Take it to a dealer or a competant specialist to have a look.
