Which version of COMMAND have I got?

How can you tell which version your COMMAND unit is?

On my 01 CLK 55, I can't find a menu option anywhere that specifies a version number and there is no mention of a version number in the COMMAND user guide.

Would my COMMAND unit be DX-compatible?

Cheers,
Ian.

You have Comand 2.0 (confusingly this is also the name of the Comand version in the newer CLK and C Class - up to about 2004). The 2 signifies it's a double din unit.

Another Comand variant is 2.5 (for the S Class & CL).

Your unit would be a DX system, when you power the unit on I think you get a little logo in the corner stating DX.

As already stated, your COMAND is COMAND 2. CD Teleatlas based navigation.
