Supercharger problem

Hi, I have the superchager not cutting in on my slk230 (98) with fault codes P1525,P0805,P0806, I think this could be a electrical problem, does anyone know where i should start first, also does the wiring relate back to the K40 or something else ?

Fix for the K40 relay HERE

P1525 is camshaft position sensor
P0805 is clutch position sensor circuit
Po806 is clutch position sensor range/performance

I had this on my CLK check all the piping under the supercharger to make sure it is intact as well as the connection on the air bypass valve which can go faulty and cause this symptom.

The best bet is to get it to an Indie and put on Star so you can find the problem without trying to second guess it, it will save you time and money in the long run, sometimes the DTC codes can be red herrings and there's no substitute for Star

I have similar codes coming up on my sluggish R reg CLK 230 Kompressor. The supercharger does not run (seems to try for an instant and stop) and I get codes: P1525, P0443, P0805, P0806, P0300, P0301, and lastly P0302.
I have looked them up and can see what they are listed as - can anyone explain if there is a simple solution or lots of things to change? Car has done 110k, drives superbly except the sluggishness and just passed its MOT. I have noticed the oil in the MAF mentioned on several sites, and after a clean it runs better but still no SC? Not changed MAF or dealt with breather issue mentioned widely yet.
Also when I bought the car the supercharger clutch wire was unplugged - so I plugged it back in and from then on its had the BAS/ASR light on?
Does all of this mean anything to anyone - happy to change parts it needs but worried about parts it may not need as that gets expensive!

I thought the SC clutch on the earlier cars was mechanical not electrical but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe someones been messing retrofitting
