Hi all,

have a w210 e200 1998 and was wondering if anyone could help my siren problem im having
Alarm, central locking all work fine, I have the 3 button keyless remote.

I locked doors, alarm is armed as little light on alarm button flashes, opened door with key located within FOB and just hazards started flashing, no siren

why is this?

Anything to do with the siren's own battery or something?

Siren is probably full of water - you'll probably need a new one.

Mine is under the front O/S wheel arch liner. There are several good threads about where and how to replace. I think its a common fault in most models.

On the 210, I think it's located under the nearside front wheel arch liner behind the wheel.

A W202 but might be the same as a w210?

Indicators fast flashing for no apparent reason
