My 06 w211 comand aps ntg1 plays video DVD in the headunit and the nav computer is in the boot.
My 06 w203 comand aps ntg2 looks identical to ntg1 but nav dvd goes in the headunit and does not play video dvd
Both are widescreen and look virtually identical with widescreen and same buttons.

And also I don't think the disc is in there anyway as when you press Nav, nothing comes up...

Which actually points more the issue being something else, not a missing disc. Are you just getting a blue screen by any chance when pressing 'NAV'.

The dealers are pretty clueless themselves if they just watched you put the disc in the COMAND unit and didnt say anything.

That was my thought as I thought comand would say no disk if there was no disk. I bet there is a different issue that will need more than a new disk to fix or could be as simple as pulling the fuse for a few minutes so the system resets

Looking at the previous accident thread from the OP is seems a rear side panel sustained damage in the accident. If it was the side the nav processor etc is on they could have removed these components to repair the panel so it could be a MOST connection issue. Or maybe they havent put the actual nav processor back ... cue dealer stole my nav processor thread.

I just get nothing, blank screen, and oh, there is no disc inside...

The box for the nav is in the trunk but no disc inside, and the panel they fixed on that side was the passenger side door and wheel arch.

Wonder how long it will take them to realise the disc goes in the boot. Probably best they are taking it from you to sort out as I think there may be some other issue too.

This is just crazy, I would make sure I tell them it's in the boot.

PS: They also ordered an 18" 5 spoke ( I think) alloy to replace my 19" amg split rim and I had to point it out to them that they were different... Shocking or what?!

Incredible.
It's surprising you didn't top yourself over that one...
