Pulling cables front to rear?

In my latest Blaupunkt acquisition, I will be installing a subwoofer in the rear, and therefore need to pull cables from the HU to the rear. What would be the best way - use the left/right sill, or follow the central transmission tunnel?

Personally, I'd rmove the front passanger seat and then follow the proper cable channels under carpet beneath the seat and keep it as OEM as possible.

It'll end up a much better job and doesnt take long to remove the seat & pull back the carpet.

On a w202 theere are proper cable channels on the left and right hand sills as Anders says. Also like Sp!ke says coming from the centre console, out under the seat. Whatever way you get the cable to the sill, read on....

Anders, I used the drivers side sill. Koolvin and I found this to be the side with less interferance for the RCA cable. I think the otherside did not produce good results at all.

I guess this remains the same for your car, but being LHD will mean it's the passenger side for you.

A cable? whats that? I get a tiny bit of engine noise from my speakers when voilume is either 0 or mute (as in a "wheeeeeeeeoooooooouuuuuuuu" noise - very much like its picking up an ign signal.. pre leads run in sill (LHS) but its not that as i tried running them outside the car and it made no difference...
